a multidisciplinary celebration of rage, resistance, & the love of justice
December 20, 2015
Stage 773 - 1225 W Belmont
$10 - 40% of each ticket goes to a Chicago activist organization

One year after Darren Wilson was not indicted, one month after LaQuan McDonald's killer was charged, leaders of Chicago's cultural renaissance share their rage, resilience, reflections on a year of resistance, and vision for a liberated future.

Featuring music, poetry, and visuals by RJ Eldridge, Akenya, Britteney Kapri, Ricardo Gamboa, Ciara Miller, Bryant Cross, Quenna Lene, Kush Thompson, Ayinde Cartman & more!

In the spirit of community abundance, #LetUsBreathe will collect toy donations in honor of Ronald "Ronnieman" Johnson for a memorial toy drive organized by his mother, Dorothy Holmes. We will also feature our Free Store programming - where the community can exchange books, coats, clothes, art supplies, school supplies, & household items. Bring your abundance to donate and pick up something that makes you feel good. We got everything we need.
